The warmer weather is almost here to stay – and that means the summertime events are ready to kick off! With so many exciting attractions to attend from farmers market’s, art shows, waterfront festivals and more - we wanted to share some of our favourites and a few that don’t get that attention they deserve.
1. Forest Ave Fun Fair
The Forest Avenue Fun Fair has been bringing families in Port Credit together for a night of fun and fundraising for over 30 years. The funds raised during the Fun Fair are used to enhance the learning experience of Forest Avenue Public School students, both inside and outside the classroom. The Larose Team has been a proud Platinum sponsor of the event for many years. This year, we're sponsoring the Haunted House event. Come enjoy a little scare and say hello to our team member Katrina Dauphinee!

2. Port Credit Farmers Market
Come enjoy Port Credit’s Farmers Market each and every Saturday morning from June 9th to October 6th 2018.
This is the best place in Port Credit to buy fresh local produce straight from the grower. Vendors also sell items such as honey, eggs, maple syrup, sauces, and much more!
Our Farmers Market also has weekly live music, demonstrations and a new group of artisans each week. The kids will love the drop-in crafts.

3. Mississauga Waterfront Festival
The Mississauga Waterfront Festival (MWF) is now celebrating its 23rd year. The festival is recognized as Mississauga’s Signature Family and Friends event. We have achieved a Top 100 Festivals in Ontario ranks for 13 years and received praise for consistently providing new and fresh performers and attractions.

4. Canada Day
Canada Day in Port Credit, there's nothing better! Join the community for the Paint the Town Red Canada Day parade, and celebration at Memorial Park. Live music, good food, local vendors, and a evening with the always epic fireworks display!

5. Ribfest
BIGGER, BETTER, BOLDER than you’ve ever seen before. Join us in the heart of Port Credit for an amazing time with your friends and family.
We look forward to returning this long standing and successful fundraiser to the Port Credit area and we’re excited to be a part of the vibrant community. Our volunteers are working hard to make sure that we deliver a BIGGER, BETTER, BOLDER Ribfest.
Get ready to enjoy some fantastic music, food and fun while contributing to raise money for charities and community groups that support local residents. This year our focus will be on Community Wellness.

6. Water Lantern Festival
The Water Lantern Festival is filled with fun, happiness, hope and good memories that you will cherish all your life. It's a family event that can be shared by everyone.
